What a load of complete balls. I'll restrict my critique to something I actually have professional knowledge about, although most of the stuff covered is so full of holes it's absurd. I'm an airline pilot with over 16,000 hours and was an instructor in two air forces (selected for exchange duties). I think I'm more qualified to comment than someone who claims knowledge of everything from aviation to nuclear weapons to intelligence because his daddy was a navigator in WW2 and his mummy was a cryptologist.
It was not necessary to control those aircraft by remote control. The terrorists flying the planes on 9/11 didn't actually need to have instrument ratings or even be able to fly an approach and landing and I don't think anyone was asking them for their licenses, they were hijackers after all. It would not be difficult to obtain enough training in light aircraft and simulators to do what they did.
Remote control? Give me a break! What a load of utter, utter crap.

@huntergatherer: Cognitive dissonance is a bitch. It does feel better to just choose to grow up though. Good luck.

Thanks for the links LarryE, I like the second one in particular. But I don't know why this guy get's his own self-serving radio slot here after this;
Anybody that questions Mr Ruppert or criticizes him is a zombie and everyone that comes on his show is " brilliant " . Funny to see how his minions get all pissed and worked up about it. Oh, whatever happened to the " CLIFF EVENT " that was supposed to happen " no later than the summer of 2010 " . ( mentioned that on Max keiser and everywhere else). Now , a collapse by july 2011…friggin scammer Ruppert.

what a garbage show! why does a mental case, confirmed sexual harasser even have a show?? And he believes OBL death is faked. MCR you con artist. Critters like you are the real con men. Let me guess who's on your next show. Nicole foss again or Carolyn baker?? Same old crap.
wheatfarmer
Since your mommy and daddy were at CIA and you have a " Q " clearance maybe they will let you see OBL's pictures!!!

I find wheatfarmer and huntergather very interesting with their similar and consistent persistent hater posts. Why bother to come here week after week to post negative opinion comments? What does it matter to you if listeners want to hear what MCR and guests have to say? The URLs provided have private ownership and the blog name on the .org site, and the "contact us" on the .info site aren't even honest contact or email information so why would a critical thinking individual take anything you say seriously? In fact, you lend more credibility his conspiracy theories than if you wrote nothing at all so…

Funny to see Mike's Minions pissed. Actual reports and conclusions of law have been posted on those sites for those who can actually read.

Why bother to come here and post negative comments Kym? Several reasons to start with;
1. Many people take MCR seriously. I used to. I was reading him back in the FTW days before the Great Ashland Oregon Office Break-In Computer Massacre followed by the Daring Escape to Venezuela (I wish I still had the email I got from him while he was there – the one that was followed up by a panicky "but my computer was stolen while I was distracted by a teenage girl" or words to that effect. Ha ha, that was funny!)
Just because the topics he talks about are important doesn't mean what he has to say is worth listening to. His understanding of how modern economies actually work is disturbingly underdeveloped. Too much reading Zero Hedge and Business Insider perhaps?
2. This would not matter except that people are considering or have made life-changing decisions based on what he's said.
3. People are sending him money when everything he provides is available to those who look.
4. He seems incapable of accepting when he has made a mistake and will not even correct errors of fact when they are pointed out to him by his readers. He makes many, many errors of fact, just in the stuff that I can claim knowledge of so how can I trust what he says about things I'm not sure about? He is not the great investigative reporter he claims to be. He gets a bit too much milage out of being an LAPD cop for what, five years? His "connections" to the intelligence world are laughable. Enough said.
5. Because he's accepting money for what he's doing, he's basically committing fraud. This is perhaps not as serious as the panic that he causes in some people. He and his die-hard followers have all the characteristics of a cult.
Note that I'm not questioning the underlying ideas of Peak Oil, environmental destruction, over population etc. I'm a great admirer of the writings of Derrick Jensen, although I hate to even mention his name in the same paragraph as MCR. I've attended ASPO conferences. It's serious stuff. The last thing we need is some clown who will only put many people off and leave many people disillusioned once they realise they've been "had".
It seems that many who've had dealings with MCR over the years and been burnt are not wanting to go anywhere near him. They should show a bit more courage and stand up to make others aware.
So, that's why I come here. I feel like I have a duty to warn people about this man. Frankly I'd rather go and play my guitar or go for a walk, but I hope this might help people "wake up", as so many like to say around here.
Hey wheatfarmer, some have suggested we are the same person! After you stole my land and cleared my forests and poisoned my rivers! What a cheek! ;-)

I used to be very interested in his views, but after he came back from Venezuela promising to never return to the United States, I really started digging more into him and the more I found out, I was disappointed. I'm on the east coast. His BOLI case in Oregon really nailed it. For example, I found out, he was the prime suspect in burglarizing his computers and he fled the country just before he was to take a lie detector test.
Even more disturbing were his claims that the lady did that and she was on meth.
A claim that has been proven to be a lie by the investigation. Well of course, he will claim its all a conspiracy and dick cheney and Don Rumsfeld did that to him. ( like he claims in the movie) and his disciples will believe him and defend him.
The man's a con and he knows it. When he needs money, he invokes the fear of collapse to raise money from unsuspecting or ignorant folks. Personally, I haven't donated a dime to this con artist. And the fact that irritates me the most is his acting like he's an expert on all things and he pretty much discovered peak oil. I don't dispute the fact that the worlds oil reserves are dwindling fast or corruption in government, but I can't stand to see a con man making money off of it by making false predictions and scaring people, like the so called " cliff event of the summer of 2010 " . This man has no shame and he's even admitted it in his blog while begging for alms.
If people like stupid Kym has an ounce of critical thinking ability left in their brain, they'd be checking out sites like…
