We talk to the lead author on a study released today showing a majority of Americans starting to connect the dots between extreme weather events and climate change. Dr. Anthony Leiserowitz of Yale’s Dept of Environmental Studies joins D.R. Tucker and I to discuss. If that link is strengthening it’s no thanks to mainstream media; new data shows the broadcast networks mentioned climate change LESS often over the past two years than their coverage of Donald Trump. Jocelyn Fong, of Media Matters, opines on that disturbing trend. In our last segment we’ll talk to Catriona Macgregor, author of Partnering with Nature, about reversing the trend towards Nature Deficit Disorder and away from obesity! Just in time for Earth Day, Catriona will tell us what we can do to get off our (g)asses.
