Jonathan Koomey, Consulting Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, talks about his new book,”Cold Cash, Cool Climate: Science Based Advice for Ecological Entrepreneurs”. Dr. Koomey says computer efficiency technology is improving rapidly but will continue only if we invest more today to reduce greenhouse gas emissions tomorrow. Next, Janet Nudelman,Director of Program and Policy at The Breast Cancer Fund, talks about links between bpa and breast cancer and a campaign to get thechemical out of commonly used food cans and drink bottles. Last, but not least, a petition campaign aimed at Discovery Channel’s “FrozenPlanet” series, which omitted an inconvenient truth about human caused contributions to climate change!
