great show, guys. like that caller said, you guys are the heroes of our generation. don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise.
michael and peter, i am sicking of working a pointless job (in insurance) that undermines our very well-being. it is based on a fraudulent healthcare system run by the AMA which is funded by the Rockefellers. i have personally witnessed how changes in diet can radically alter symptoms of disease yet this kind of information is never part of a doctor’s program.
i am like both of you in that this fight is ingrained into my DNA and there is nowhere else to go. and i picked up on Peter’s disappointment with the Masses to wake the fuck up. even when you tell them and back it up with evidence, they laugh at you or deny it all. even though it’s for their very well-being. and at this point, i’ve realized it will take an incredible amount of PAIN for the Masses to wake the fuck up and even then they will still cling to the system like scared little immature children unaware of their potential to make this world a dream for them and all and live in peace. but they are literally BRAINWASHED. and people like us have broken that spell for ourselves.
even if we are alone in this, i am glad we have each other and share that energy that drives us to write and speak the Truth every moment of our lives. we may be separated by thousands of miles and not know what each other looks like but the bond is there and it is one of very few comforts i find in this world.
Two of my fav guys shooting the breeze….. How lucky are we to be able to sit and listen in? :)

I agree completely with Peter about his frustration with people not using their full potential in making this world a much better place. There is so much that can be done, and the resources are right in front of us. People like Bucky Fuller and others have given us the blueprints to get started. The Transition Movement is one example of the possibilities that can be implemented. But, what do we do? Sit and wait for the next epic reboot to appear in movie theaters across the country. Wake up, people! Neither Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, nor the Hulk is going to save this world; it’s has to be ordinary people like us.

Great to hear these 2 brilliant heroes share their insights. Mike mentioned his 2nd appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience. I had a different take than Mike. Rogan and Redban were disrespecting Mike and making a mockery out of collapse. The JRX Episode #170 which MCR was first on was Mike at his best. Unfortunately for Rogan it’s doom and gloom because people like Rogan who always have one foot firmly planted in the Matrix talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. Too bad Mike didn’t expose Rogan’s friend Alex Jones…When Peter was on the JRX that was also an amazing podcast. Check it out on iTunes…

Completely agree with you about Rogan. I can only watch when Mike is on otherwise I just can’t handle him for more then a minute or two. He’s intelligent but, he won’t give up the illusion of fame and fortune being the best way out.

Woah woah…. I agree with alot of what Peter has to say, but what creeped me out was his analogy to ants. First of all ants are actually among a myriad of species that are in the “oldest species” club: certain flies, certain crabs, and of course cockroaches and not all lacked self-interest.
But he suggested that the ants were successful because they lacked self-interest and worked for the common good. I hope people realize that lack of self-interest is just as harmful as too much self-interest. Not to even mention ants actually practice centralized control: the queen releases special chemical that suppresses the other other ants’ reproductive systems and bends them to her will. All the ants are only useful for their utility and they have designated roles. And since the queen lays millions of eggs, the ants are pretty much disposable.
An ant colony is what we have TODAY in our CURRENT SYSTEM. We have centralized control just like ants, the current elite class is analogous to the queen ant, the designated roles each ant is built for is analagous to the class-based hierarchy system we have today.
Although I highly respect both of these guys, a lot of this show was intellectual self-aggrandizement. Would have preferred more discussions of places to be active than the continual lamenting of how hard every thing is. Peter and Mike should be very proud of what they have accomplished, but patting each other on the back and complaining so much is ultimately going to undermine some of what I think are the most valuable ideas in the global culture and consciousness today.

I think that’s just you being cynical. The show was what it was. You’re the person judging them.

Please stop telling other people to wake up. Really, has anyone ever responded to that by saying “oh thank you I was asleep!” Its condescending and unhelpful. Ideas if they are powerful enough do not need to be accompanied by cliched revolutionary platitudes. The reason style matters is that it refines and makes more effective the idea structure someone puts forth.
Drew
wake up.

This shit’s got to go!!

I understand their frustration… It’s not that they are patting their back, it’s just two people quiet tired of dealing with hedonistic present oriented people that give a crap as long as they are able to purchase cool stuff or have a party regularly.

I have no job and 2 young kids and huge debts…The system is so flawed and corrupt now, every attempt to find any type of work is Immediately hijacked by business interest, that as we all know has a certain set of values..after I have had a day of being marginalized and insulted by young greedy and self obsessed recruitment consultants..I find comfort in hearing that my own armageddon is not just my own and it is just “time” that separates us, we will all be together soon in some kind of smelting of our societal values..which will see is emerge as some thing greater than before… unfortunately that will be a fascist unstable brutal technocratic;autocratic and plutocratic idealistic “blame game”.. media fest which will blame immigrants and difference as the cause and not greed and selfishness..I have only the love of my children and my battered mind to see me through the financial strain..I live in a city that has no kindness or compassion just a “kill or be killed”mentality..You can hear the cynicism in their voices you can hear their desperation as they seek to intellectualize the coming end of humanity
When I listen I can take comfort in the notion of “hope”in a dying world..I wish you all the very best in the future, please don’t give up some of us need to hear that their may be a possible future..
That is a message I sent to anyone reading this catharsis..
