Covering the health field as a journalist for over two decades, Alison Rose Levy, MA is a knowledgeable, articulate, well-connected, and outspoken “generalist” in a field where specialization, fragmentation, and media overload make it hard for people to move beyond over-simplified health tips to the foundational understandings that reveal the best individual and collective health options for proactive health.

A Featured Health Blogger at the Huffington Post (since 2007) as well as at Change.org, Psychology Today, Intent.com, and the Urban Zen blogsite, Alison is a bestselling writer, author, former magazine Senior Editor,  television news and documentary producer, and writer/consultant on over nine books.

Alison has covered the integrative health territory, interviewing major thought leaders for blogs, internet radio, television programming, magazine editorial, and bestselling books. Currently writing an upcoming book on connecting the dots between individual and collective health, Alison served as co-host of the internet health radio program, Whole Person Healing on VoiceAmerica, and has interviewed guests including Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra, Larry Dossey, Rupert Sheldrake, and James O’Dea. Recently, she produced a three part series on Your Health and the Environment, with the Director of the Safe Chemicals Initiative, and two leading experts on detoxification.
