Chapter 12 of Ask And It Is Given, by Abraham-Hicks, is sub-tited: “Your Emotional Set-Points Are Within Your Control”.
This is quite possibly the most useful chapter in the book, because it helps us to instill confidence in ourselves by empowering us to believe in our own control of our life experiences.
It begins, “Most people do not believe they have control over what they believe. They observe things happening around them and evaluate them, but they usually feel that they have no control whatsoever about the belief that is formulating within them. They spend their lives sorting events into categories of good and bad, wanted or unwanted, right or wrong—but rarely do they understand that they have the ability to control their personal relationship with these events.”
