The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is being negotiated in secret by the Obama Administration with nations on the Pacific Rim. It is the latest so-called free trade agreement, like Nafta, that undermines democracy and protects multinational corporations from regulation.  We will hear a teach-in on the TPP that was presented in Washington Square Park on January 29 as part of Occupy Wall Street.  Speakers explain how the TPP undermines food security, local agriculture, access to affordable drugs, and the ability for sovereign nations to regulate banks and multinational coroporations.
