Antidepressants do not prevent suicides and may even increase the risk of attempts

A new analysis published in the current issue of Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics discloses important findings as to the role of antidepressant drugs in preventing suicide. Scientists Uncover Mystery of 80 Suicides in ‘Demonic’ Indian Village

The long chain of mysterious suicides in a tiny Indian village made its residents believe that they are haunted by bloodthirsty “demons,” but researchers, who carried out their own investigation, reached more shocking conclusions.
