Vince Emanuele was born and raised in America’s Rust-Belt. In 2002, he joined the United States Marine Corps. In 2005, Vince refused orders for a third deployment and immediately began working with the antiwar movement during the Bush years. During that period, Vince testified to U.S. Congress and participated in a wide-range of campaigns, protests, street theatre performances, writing workshops, and direct actions.

His experiences in the military have been captured in Olivier Morel’s award-winning documentary film, “On the Bridge,” which has been recreated in the French graphic novel, “Revenants.” Vince’s writings and transcribed interviews have appeared in teleSUR EnglishAlterNet, CounterPunch, the Christian Science Monitor, In These Times, CounterCurrents and ZNet. He has also appeared on numerous television and radio programs, including those on NPR, BBC, CNN, Russia Today, DemocracyNow! and Al Jazeera English.
