Ellen Kamhi PhD, RN, www.naturalnurse.com, interviews Dr. John Hall, PhD – Senior Scientific Advisor at The Beljanski Foundation. Dr. Hall completed graduate work in biochemistry at Princeton University and New York University. As a post-doctoral fellow and then as a professor at Rockefeller University, his research focused on the fundamental mechanisms relating cell motility to cell division and cancer. He has served as an executive and as a consultant in the biotechnology industry, and he is currently Director of Research at Natural Source International, Ltd., as well as Senior Scientific Advisor for The Beljanski Foundation. Dr John Hall was awarded his PhD in biochemistry in the same department in which Mirko Beljanski was a visiting research fellow in Severo Ochoa’s laboratory at NYU in 1950.
On today’s show, Dr. Hall will discuss the history of the research and practice of Dr. Mirko Beljanski, whose work assisted many people successfully deal with a cancer diagnosis, as documented in the book, The Regulation of DNA Replication and Transcription, by Mirko Beljanski.

As a pianist and violinist, Dr. Baron, believes in the power of music to heal. She has always believed that people need kindness and caring, and she has seen how patients can feel better without pharmaceuticals, when they have been listened to and cared for. – Black people all across the country are effectively being disenfranchised by state takeovers of their public schools. So says KE-RON BLAIR, executive director of the Alliance to Reclaim Our Schools, a coalition of nine organizations representing more than seven million students, educators and community members. Blair says state takeovers have accelerated across the country, almost exclusively in heavily Black and brown districts.
– The Stop Mass Incarceration Network, co-founded by Dr. Cornel West and Carl Dix, is gearing up for three days of protests in New York City, October 22 through 24. The Rise Up October campaign held a rally at the First Corinthian Baptist Church, in Harlem, last Thursday, under the heading, “What We Must Do to Stop Police Terror and Murder.” The most effective testimony of the evening came from relatives of people killed by cops, like Juanita Young, the mother of Malcolm Ferguson.
– The Black Is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations held its national conference, in Philadelphia. The theme was “Black Power Matters,” and the demand put forward was Black Community Control of the Police. The conference occurred not long after members of the HASHTAG Black Lives Matter organization failed to make any demands during their encounter with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Black Agenda Report’s Glen Ford told the Black Is Back conference that the leaders of the Black Lives Matter organization are trying to drag the Black people’s movement into the clutches of the Democratic Party, where progressive movements go to die.
– In Philadelphia, Her-DOE-jah Benton, of the Uhuru Movement, in St. Louis, Missouri, spoke to the Black Is Back Coalition conference.
– Philadelphia is notorious for the brutality of its police. But, the family of 22 year old Tyree Carrol is fighting back against a police culture of violence. The young man was beaten by dozens of cops on the street in front of his home. A neighbor recorded the beating on video tape, and activists have been mobilized. Asantawaa Nkrumah Ture is a spokesperson for Justice for Tyree Carrol.
– Baltimore community organizer Tre Murphy helped raise half a million dollars bail for Allen Bullock, the 18-year-old who smashed the window of a police car during the rebellion over the cop killing of Freddie Gray. Allen Bullock’s bail was higher than that set for any of the six cops charged in Freddie Gray’s death. Community organizer Tre Murphy says high bail is just another weapon of oppression against Black and poor people.
– Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is on the left wing of the Democratic Party, which is usually associated with anti-war positions. But, the New Hampshire senator, who claims he’s a socialist, seems to be encouraging the Saudi Arabian regime in its war against Yemen. According to Sam Husseini, of the Institute for Public Accuracy, in Washington, Bernie Sanders appears to get excited about the Saudis waging war against their neighbors.
– In questions over Shaun King’s race, activists see challenge to Black Lives Matter movement. Conservative idiots see this as a big issue. Why? Because they’ve got nothing else in their quiver.
– Virginia TV reporter and photographer shot during live broadcast. Yet another instance of the wrong person having access to guns. In this case, it’s allegedly a former employee.
– Louisiana state trooper is killed in shooting at traffic stop. Yes, cop’s lives matter too, and if no one else will say anything about the loss of a life, we will!
– As Donald Trump and Jorge Ramos clash, Latino news media airs its offense. So should blacks, Jews, Asians, and everybody else of good will. That’s just in case Trump actually runs through the primaries.

– Asian congresswomen: Bush’s anchor baby comments prove he’s unfit for presidency. Not just JEB…ANYBODY who has a policy of gutting the 14th Amendment is totally unfit. I do have a solution to this nonsense, however.
– Signs, long unheeded, now point to risks in US economy. We Americans are such cockeyed optimists. Yet recent market gyrations could spell trouble, even for average people with no money in markets.
– Marcy Borders, subject of iconic 9/11 dust lady photo dies after battle with stomach cancer. Yet more proof, if any is needed, that the entire area around the World Trade Center was toxic. Marcy Borders was only 42.
– Black women kicked off NAPA wine tour train get apology from CEO after hashtag #Laughing While Black goes viral. Would there have been an apology without the exposure? Probably not.
– Aggressive panhandling costumed characters spread from Times Square to the Battery, Coney Island, sparking turf war, The media in this town are perpetrating the biggest fraud in years in making this a life or death story. And the mayor and governor, in trying to find some flimsy reason to ban the Denudas, are no better than those trying to gut the 14th Amendment.
– Bill de Blasio claims people ‘not buying the hype’ of his bad press. He better be careful, lest they do sometime closer to election day.
