Election Primaries 2016: The Republicans’ Offensive Counteroffensive to the Democrats’ Shenanigans

The presidential race is at full throttle. Skirmishes earlier this month in Iowa and New Hampshire have winnowed the ranks of contenders, and a further culling might occur before Super Tuesday (March 1) after primaries in Nevada and South Carolina. Leid Stories has been discussing the shenanigans on the Democratic side, a fierce battle between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders to be the standard bearer in the general election. We look at how the other wing of the duopoly is faring as six survivors of a brutal political editing execute an offensive counteroffensive.

YOU TUBE CLIP – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2DZ8bbxd8U

TITLE: BEST DEBATE IN THE WORLD! @ University of Oxford. MUST WATCH!!!

One of the best arguments against people who claim Islam as a religion of war.

YOU TUBE CLIP – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghr-JMq1VT0

TITLE: Muslims Fail to Prove Islam is a Religion of Peace in Debate

Zeba Khan and Maajid Nawaz debate against Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Douglas Murray to try and prove that Islam is a religion of peace. Spoiler alert: they fail miserably, and that”s not just my bias, that’s how the audience actually felt. The only thing Zeba and Maajid proved was that they wish and hope that Islam will become a religion of peace.

Note: The only parts cut from the debate were the long introduction before the moderator first starts speaking and instances where the moderator repeated the name of the debate and all the debaters, which he did several times. You will see a cut at about 52 minutes in where Maajid is just finishing a sentence. Nothing that he said was cut. After he says “camp” the video cut to the audience and the moderator started announcing the debate information again.

Otherwise, even the questions and answers have been left in at the end.

It’s Our Money with Ellen Brown – Is George Orwell Smiling? – 02.17.16

Perhaps he’s just smirking, as the merged worlds of global finance and transnational government play out their collaborations of control and deception in the name of a new world order they control. Ellen speaks this week with noted historian, economic researcher and journalist William Engdahl about some backstory facts that belie popular news story narratives from mainstream reporters and government authorities. “War is Peace” is just one of those. Later, we revisit another powerful narrative deception rolling our way in the form of the Trans Pacific Partnership as we look at some of its deceptive and unbelievable features with anti-TPP activist Kevin Zeese. And Matt Stannard brings it all home with his insightful observations about how these factors play out in our global climate reality.

Trends This Week – False faith, not hard data, boosting markets. Can it last? – 02.17.16

Trend forecaster Gerald Celente lays it on the table, dissecting why the bounce back in markets the last few days is bunk. After equity markets worldwide suffered one of the worst starts of a new year in history, stocks suddenly rebounded. For example, the Nikkei closed out last week at its lowest level since October 2014. But what economic fundamentals spiked prices higher this week? Was it the dismal news that Japan’s economy contracted 1.4 percent in the last quarter? No. What boosted stocks prices was the twisted rationale that despite the Bank of Japan firing two rounds of blanks from its “monetary bazooka,” the lousy Gross Domestic Product number was cause to launch yet another round of stimulus. Before Chinese markets opened Monday after being closed for a week, the Shanghai Index had fallen 47 percent since its peak in June. Was it on the rotten news that China’s exports fell 11.2 percent in January and imports plunged 18.8 percent that markets rallied? No. As with Japan, the dismal data was taken as a positive sign that the People’s Bank of China would take bold measures to boost sluggish growth. “Confidence,” trust the effectiveness of the rigged market game, not economic fundamentals, was the rationale for stocks suddenly moving higher. Tuesday’s New York Times headline summed it up: “Global Shares Buoyed by Investor Faith.” Yes, faith in more failed central-bank stimulus and stock and bond buyback sideshows… not faith in true price discovery and robust Gross Domestic product growth.
